Root Canal Cases
Tooth #12 with deep cavity and pathology
Root Canal Tooth #12
This case is a patient in his 20's. He came to our office with pain and swelling in the upper left side of his face. Radiographs revealed a large cavity on his upper left first premolar. He also had dark-colored pathology at the tip of the tooth's root. A root canal treatment was performed on this tooth. We achieved an excellent complete fill of both the buccal and the palatal canals, and we placed a post in the palatal canal. Our patient did great. He had minimal soreness after his procedure. We anticipate a great long-term outcome for the tooth. The tooth will be completed with a porcelain crown.
