Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are an excellent cosmetic option for achieving a true smile makeover. Veneers require minimal tooth reduction and allow for dramatic change in both tooth shade and contour. They are custom-made for each patient and bonded into place at the delivery appointment

Crowns, bridges, and veneers are all dental procedures, which utilize one of the excellent dental laboratories with whom we partner. We only use dental laboratories with whom we have a long history and have been assured of the quality of their materials and workmanship. However, each of these procedures has different indications based on the individual patient’s needs.
Veneers follow a similar process to crowns and bridges; however, they are most often used as a cosmetic option for patients wishing to achieve a true smile makeover for the front teeth in their smile line or esthetic zone. Unlike crowns, porcelain veneers require minimal tooth reduction, which allows more healthy tooth structure to be preserved. They also require a final impression that is sent to the dental laboratory. Temporary veneers are made chairside for the patient to wear until the permanent veneers are completed. After being fabricated in the dental lab, they are bonded into place and allow for dramatic improvement to tooth shade and contour.
